Cannibal teacher Albert Fentress murdered and then ate parts of 18-year-old Paul Masters

This week CopyCat Killers examines the horrific case of schoolteacher Albert Fentress who tortured, killed and then ate 18-year-old student Paul Masters.

It was a Sunday night in August 1979 when Masters ended up walking into Fentress’s backyard and the teacher then lured the teenager into his basement. There he tied him up, sexually assaulted him, mutilated his body parts before shooting him twice in the head. Fentress then sliced up his body and cooked some of the pieces so he could eat them.

Fentress said he’d been inspired by the movie Deliverance and had even written a script for torturing and killing someone just a few days before, though he said it had repelled him and he’d burned it.

A new documentary tonight looks at the chilling case of ‘Wolverine’ killer Jed Allen — who murdered his sister, mom and her boyfriend in a fit of rage.

Allen was 21 when he carried out the triple murder using a hunting knife then scrawled ‘I’m sorry’ on his bedroom wall using their blood.

CopyCat Killers on ReelzChannel tonight looks at how he was inspired by the X-Men character Wolverine, who he was said to be obsessed with, and “found strength” in him.

His mother Janet Jordon, 48, was an alcoholic and heroin addict, with both heroin and methadone found in her system after she died despite her undergoing treatment to try and come off the drug at the time.

Allen, who had suffered mental health problems since

Inside the sex scandal that brought down a multi-million dollar televangelist empire when a pastor ‘raped’ his …

A new TV show explores how the Jessica Hahn sex scandal took down a multi-million dollar televangelist empire.

Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker were famous in the 1980s for their successful TV ministry PTL (Praise the Lord) Club, later called The Jim and Tammy Show.

But the Christian conglomerate was all but destroyed after a local newspaper unearthed a shocking scandal – that Jim Bakker had paid $279,000 to Jessica Hahn, a church secretary.

That thread quickly unraveled an even bigger scandal after the Charlotte Observer found that Hahn had allegedly been paid the cash as hush money, after she was allegedly raped by Bakker in a hotel room in 1980 when she was 21.

Bakker would later acknowledge that he’d had sex with the secretary but claimed it was consensual.

The upcoming episode of Scandal Made Me Famous will examine the scandal and speak to the

How a Sexual Assault Scandal Led to the Uncovering of a $158 Million Crime in a Televangelist Empire

PreviousSlide 3/3

After Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker Left PTL Club

Despite the millions that the Bakkers stole from the church, it was the sex scandal that led to their ministry’s undoing.

Following Jim’s departure from PTL club, rival preacher, Jimmy Swaggart tried to take control of the TV empire. However, Swaggart was later exposed for his own sex scandal.

Ultimately, Jerry Falwell, the Moral Majority founder, took over the ministry. He stepped in only to discover that PTL had debt amounting in the millions and that money raised for hotel timeshares had been rerouted to other places.

Jim and Tammy Faye divorced in 1992. She went on to marry their close friend Roe Messner, who was the one to come up with the hush money to pay off Hahn. Messner was later jailed for bankruptcy fraud while Tammy Faye went on to reinvent herself as a reality TV star and self-help author. She passed away at the age

‘Runaway Bride’ Jennifer Wilbanks’ bizarre story told on Scandal Made Me Famous

Jennifer Wilbanks

Jennifer Wilbanks, who became known as the ‘Runaway Bride’ after fleeing to avoid getting married

Jennifer Wilbanks was so desperate to avoid getting married to her soon-to-be-husband that she fled more than 1,400 miles then pretended she’d been kidnapped and sexually assaulted.

Wilbanks was due to marry John Mason in April 2005 in a lavish wedding with 600 guests.

But to avoid it she left Duluth, Georgia, and fled to Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Her sudden disappearance sparked a manhunt across the US with some speculating whether Mason had killed her.

Three days later — after a $100,000 reward was put up by relatives in a bid to find her — she finally rang Mason, as well as 911, and lied that she had been taken hostage by a Hispanic man and a Caucasian woman while out for a run.
